Our Regional Planner Leonard Bonarek recently gave a presentation at the Philadelphia Western Trails Summit in Haverford, focusing on how to better connect low-stress roads with the current and upcoming segments of the Circuit Trails network. Leonard compared connected regional trails as an “interstate highway for bikes, but one that is only useful if connected to itself and to the communities it passes through.”
Leonard highlighted several local case studies of how to use low-stress local road connectivity to boost the impact that Circuit Trails have on their communities.
