Bicycle Coalition

We would like to congratulate one of our members and volunteers, Caitlin Thompson, on being nominated for the 2019 Health Hero Challenge over at Philadelphia Magazine. Besides being an active member of the Coalition, she also is the founder of the Philadelphia chapter of Little Bellas, a mountain bike program for girls ages 7 to 13. Caitlin was honored at our 2018 Annual Gala & Awards Dinner for her work with Little Bellas. She also helps build community by serving as lead organizer for the W/T/F Cycling Mixer, which is coming up on September 27th, 2019

“Little Bellas is meaningful to me because I enjoy mentoring young girls, helping them grow their confidence, and have fun, all while riding bikes.” If Caitlin wins the coveted title of 2019 Health Hero champion, Little Bellas would be given a donation of up to $15,000. Head over to Philly Mag to vote for Caitlin and help an impactful local cycling organization win some cash! Vote now.
