Volunteer Night and Whole Foods Donation Day This Wednesday

by | June 30, 2014 | Biking in Philly, Featured | 0 comments

This Wednesday features two ways to support bicycling in Philadelphia, one through your time, the other through exchanging money for foodstuffs.

1) Bicycle Coalition Volunteer Night

This Wednesday is our monthly Volunteer Night!

6:00 – 7:30 PM
BCGP Global Headquarters – 1500 Walnut Street, Suite 1107
RSVP so we know how much pizza to order

Volunteer nights are a good way to meet other engaged bicyclists, talk to our staff, stuff some envelopes, and get free pizza dinner out of the deal.

2) Whole Foods South Street donating 5% of sales to our work

Whole Foods promotion

The Whole Foods on South Street (corner of 10th & South) will be donating 5% of all net sales to support our work.

So if you are going to stock up for a 4th of July barbecue, or have been wondering just how many bottles of chia seed supplements can fit into an empty swimming pool, Wednesday is the day for action!

This Whole Foods has been a good partner to us over the years, hosting our bike-in movies and being one of the early adopters of bike corrals. We are grateful to them for making us the beneficiary of their 5% Day.
