Philadelphia’s Office of Transportation, Infrastructure and Sustainability held a meeting about a new partially-protected bike lane project along 22nd Street, between South Philadelphia and the Ben Franklin Parkway.
The project, while not perfect, would improve this well-biked area tremendously. OTIS’ plan involves moving the bike lane to the left side of the street, and creating a protected bike lane between South and Market Streets.

I use 22nd Street a great deal, and whole-heartedly support this. Thank you so much! Please consider doing this for other north-south and east-west axes. Thank you!
I have lived in the neighborhood near and commuted on 22nd Street (Christian to Market) for over 20 years and strongly support proposed changes to bike lane infrastructure along the corridor. There is no reason not to do this.
Thanks!
