The Circuit Trails system is being put together like a puzzle; piece-mealed as local municipalities get the funding and support to put together their particular sections with the overall goal of 750 miles now well within reach.
Two more pieces of the Circuit Trails are to take shape. Missing links in the Schuylkill River Trail and the Lawrence Hopewell Trail recent started work.
The Schuylkill River Trail Project covers a 1.5 mile section east of Pottstown.
The Lawrence Hopewell Trail extends the trail 0.7 miles along Province Line Road. This project will be completed in the summer 88 percent of the 22 mile loop trail will be complete.
Just last fall the Lawrence Hopewell Trail Corporation completed a one mile section of trail known as the Whiskey House section in Hopewell Township, pictured below.
