Due to construction on the Chestnut Street Bridge, those traveling east on the West Chestnut Street bike lane will have to follow a detour beginning in early 2019.
There will also be nighttime closings on the Schuylkill river trail on the chestnut street bridge, 10pm-5am.
The detour will be as follows:
Market Street will be used as a detour. Cyclists will turn north on 30th Street, then turn east on Market Street, head to 23rd Street, and make it back to Chestnut Street.
