County Commissioners sign resolution

The Chester County Commissioners signed a resolution supporting the Circuit Trails short-term goal of 500 miles of trails by 2025 on Wednesday.

Chester County joined 20 municipalities in the region in supporting the stated goal of 500 miles by 2025, which is a step toward 750 miles by 2040.

Chester is the first county in the region to sign the resolution. We applaud the Chester County Commissioners for passing this resolution, and congratulate our affiliate group Bike Chester County for their hard with on this. The completion of the Circuit Trail network cannot happen without the support of local governments throughout the region. We will continue working with the rest of the 9 counties to get similar resolutions passed and build out the trail network.
