So, I see that Independence Blue Cross is the lead sponsor of this. I worked for them for over 3 years, and they couldn’t give a shit less about anyone biking to work and never ever encouraged it or were interested in promoting, even for free in a newsletter.
Are these events about encouraging people to bike to work, or just a cover for fundraising?
Hi John:
I’m sorry IBX never encouraged you to ride a bike.
The events are about about encouraging people to bike to work (or wherever) and the discounts/free stuff/rides around the region are meant as a show of appreciation to the Greater Philadelphia cycling community. Hope you can join one of the events!
