On Wednesday, May 3, Philadelphia City Council invited public testimony on the Budget Fiscal Year 2018. The Bicycle Coalition’s Bob Previdi spoke at that meeting, and his testimony is available at 43:05 in the below video:
We have made it a priority over the last several years to advocate for more city funds for the Streets Department to get our streets back into a good state of repair. There are far too many potholes, faded bike lanes and crumbling sidewalks in Philadelphia, and funding our streets is a step toward rebuilding broken infrastructure, and getting bike infrastructure constructed on a decent time frame.
