One of our things (as in, “Hey Morton, that Bicycle Coalition – what’s its thing?”) is ensuring that Philadelphia’s approaching bike share system is accessible to all residents of all backgrounds and incomes. Towards that end, we have posted a RFQ (Request for Quotes) to partner with us and the Philadelphia Mayor’s Office of Transportation and Utilities (MOTU) in fielding a set of focus groups in Philadelphia to determine perceptions of bike share among residents with low-incomes.

Findings from these focus groups will inform the outreach, programming and marketing that the Bicycle Coalition of Greater Philadelphia, City of Philadelphia, and Bike Share Operator will administer before, during, and after the launch of the bike share system.

The RFQ is here. Proposals should be submitted on or before August 25 to Katie at katie@bicyclecoalition.org. Read the PDF for additional requirements and specs.
