We have two Explore the Circuit rides coming this spring! The Bicycle Coalition’s Explore the Circuit series will showcase the growing Circuit Trails network throughout the Greater Philadelphia Region. Join us in May as we will ride between Bucks and Mercer counties followed with a ride in Gloucester County in June.

We’ll bring you to parts of the Circuit Trails that may be new to you and give you a first look at the newly constructed segments. Additionally, we ride along trails that require support through local advocacy to bring those connections between existing trails. For the next two rides of the season, we will bring riders to the recently constructed Scudder Falls Bridge and connect the gap between Gloucester County’s most popular Circuit Trails.

Below are the event details for each ride. If you’re already a Bicycle Coalition member, you can RSVP for and attend as many of these rides as you want at no cost. If you’re not a member, join today and your membership dues will get you access to this ride series as well and many more exciting benefits! Contact phil@bicyclecoalition.org if you have any additional questions regarding membership.

  • Saturday, May 20 from 10am to 12pm – Bridging the Gap: Scudder Falls to Washington Crossing: On May 20th we will explore the Scudder Falls Bridge, its amazing views and its connections to the well loved trails along the Delaware River: the bridge project included the construction of a shared-use bike/ped path on the new bridge’s upstream span with ramps and pathways to the Delaware Canal Towpath in Pennsylvania and the D&R Canal Towpath in New Jersey. The path and other facilities completed under other contracts by the Delaware River Joint Toll Bridge Commission opened in November 2021. Ride details will be provided upon registration. RSVP for the ride!
  • Saturday, June 10 from 10am to 12pm – Connecting the Glassboro-Elk Trail and the Monroe Township Bike Path: On June 10th we will explore the Glassboro-Elk Trail and the Monroe Township Bike Path. Currently, the connection between both existing trails are in-progress. Once the gap is completed, there will be over 12 miles of seamlessly connected Circuit Trails in Gloucester County.
