The Bicycle Coalition of Greater Philadelphia has five paid positions available for enthusiastic folks who want to help make a difference in their community. Those positions—three Bike Share Ambassadors and a Street Team Leader and Street Team members—are part-time and will begin this spring, before Bike Share launches. Bike Share Ambassador
The people in this position, respectively based in three Philadelphia neighborhoods, will work to build relationships with community members and groups near bike share stations in their neighborhood; attend community meetings; guide their community’s members through a sign-up process for bike share; distribute outreach materials; and other, similar tasks.
We’re looking for a person who is both able to build relationships with community members in the specific neighborhoods, provide feedback to the Better Bike Share Team and, most of all, should be enthusiastic about bike share coming to Philadelphia.
The three positions will be in the following neighborhoods: West Philly, Point Breeze, and North Philly (Francisville, Poplar, Yorktown, Ludlow, Olde Kensington).

Street Team/Street Team Leader
The Bicycle Coalition of Greater Philadelphia is also looking for one street team leader who will spend most of their time “in the field,” managing a 4-person street team, coordinate with Better Bike Share staff members, distribute outreach materials, and other, similar responsibilities.
We’re looking for someone who is able to communicate effectively with people of all ages, cultural groups, economic status and sexual orientation and identity. The person should be able to speak and write in a professional, friendly manner and be willing to visit any Philadelphia neighborhood. We also encourage The team leader be able to speak a language other than English—preferably Spanish.
