Since early May, the Bicycle Coalition in partnership with 24 other city non-profit and CDC organizations have been advocating for the restoration of budgets for critical agencies and programs in the FY22 Budget.  We submitted our requests in a letter and met with eleven out of seventeen Councilmembers.  We advocated for the restoration of funding for Vision Zero, Sidewalks, Transit, Housing Trust Fund, Land Bank, Commercial Corridors and Parks and Recreation.

City Council and Mayor Kenney are negotiating the City’s next  Budget during June and all budget requests must be in Council President Clarke’s office by THIS Friday, June 4th.  The City of Philadelphia Council members needs to hear from as many people as possible this week!

We need you to add your voice and call for a Livable Communities Budget that invests in active transportation, housing, commercial corridors, and open space!  [Your organization] has joined with 24 other organizations to demand that City Council and the Mayor adopt a FY22 budget that supports The City of Philadelphia Livable Communities!
