Burlington County officially opened the Delaware River Heritage Trail (130 Bypass Section) with a ribbon-cutting event. The 5.5-mile trail begins at the Crystal Lake Dam and through Crystal Lake Park and ending in Roebling waterfront park. Besides being part of the Circuit Trails it is also a segment of the East Coast Greenway.

The ribbon-cutting was followed by a seven-mile ride along the trail to the Roebling Museum, which had free admission for the annual Florence Township Patriotic Celebration Parade.

The trail is accessible via the RiverLINE Roebling Station with service every half hour. Leaving the station follow the Bike Route signs to the Riverfront Park.

A trailhead with restrooms and water is located in Crystal Lake Park.

Later this year Burlington County will open up two more trails, the 2.2 mile Arney’s Mount Trail loop in Springfield Township and the 4 mile Rancocas Creek Trail between Amico Island Park and Pennington Park.
