We’re pleased as punch to announce that our county affiliate group Bike Camden County has a new Chair: Jordan Lee Miller. Jordan takes over the helm from Mike Cannon, who can now enjoy his retirement in peace! Additionally, we’re excited to announce that Bike Camden County will have a steering committee that’s jam packed with heavy hitters that have diverse skillsets:
- Jay Jones of the South Jersey Port Corporation. Avid cyclist, and has his finger in more South Jersey bike-related pies than you can shake a stick at
- Eileen Stillwell, retired journalist from the Courier Post with interests in cycling and environmental sustainability
- David Steinberg, semi-retired city planner and board member of Sustainable Haddon Heights
We look forward to supporting “Jordan and the Dream Team” and all of our dedicated Camden County volunteers in their efforts to make the county a more walkable, bikeable place with a better quality of life for all residents, regardless of income.
If you’re interested in applying to be an affiliate chair in your county (or being part of your own county’s Dream Team), we still have openings in Delaware, Montgomery, Mercer and Gloucester Counties. Click here for the online application, which takes about a minute to fill out.
Thanks for the opportunity to get the ball rolling here in Camden County, it was an honor. I’m thrilled at both Jordan’s selection and the Dream Team and look forward to what this infusion of youth, vision, and expertise will bring. Best of Luck Jordan!
This is great news! Jordan is a great guy and will do wonderfully to lead the Bike Coalition’s efforts to help make Camden County a safer place to ride a bike.
