Last Chance to Sign Up For This Weekend’s 19-Mile Circuit Ride

Weekends are the best time to get on the bike, stretch your legs and hit the streets, trails, or even gravel roads. If you don’t have any plans and are up for traversing all three of these conditions, join the Bicycle Coalition of Philadelphia and Bike Chester County on Saturday, July 11th for our upcoming Explore the Circuit ride.

Sarah Clark Stuart, deputy director of the Bicycle Coalition will be leading the ride, which will gather at the Longford Park trailhead at 1:00pm and roll out at 1:15pm. This ride will be taking the group on 19 miles of trails along the Schuylkill River, through Pheonixville and Spring City and then back to Longford Park. The entire event will be roughly four hours, with a few informative stops and a pub stop at the tail end for some refreshments. Here’s a map of the ride:

For those who feel they aren’t up for the gravel portion of the ride, an alternate route will be offered. This is a great way to get out of the congested city streets end enjoy some clean summer air.

If the weather turns ugly we’ll contact you via email by 9am that day. Sign up here.
