2020 has been an interesting one to say the least. Despite the challenges, the Circuit had several gaps completed in 2020, which have created new connections along the trails. The Circuit Trails 2020 Annual Report reviews updates along the Delaware River Heritage Trail and Arney’s Mount Trail in Burlington County, the Cross County Trail in Montgomery County, visionary plans for the Spring Garden Street Greenway and more.
In 2020, 12.96 miles of new Circuit Trails were completed, including an additional 5.6 miles of trail improvements in the region. This brings the total to 354 miles built as of last year. See which trails are complete in your county and trails coming soon by visiting the full report here!
While this year didn’t happen exactly as we would have hoped, we still managed to make major strides in development of the Circuit Trails network, not to mention a notable increase in trail usage throughout the region by those who needed a breath of fresh air in the midst of a tough year.
