Based on 311 submissions, Philadelphia has 700 abandoned bicycles lying around, taking up room on bike racks and being otherwise ugly.  The Office of Transportation, Infrastructure & Sustainability (oTIS) and the Streets Department are looking for volunteers to help tag abandoned bikes during the month of March to get ready for removal during the 2023 Spring Clean up.  Below is a map of where the abandoned bikes are.  Please volunteer to tag abandoned bikes by filling out this form.

You will be contacted in late February by oTIS with instructions on what to do and will be provided tags to put on the abandoned bikes.  Tagging will start in early March and must be finished by March 21st.  The tags have a phone number for owners to call if a bike is not abandoned.
