Our events of the past two weekends–ProfiteROLL and the Emily Fredricks Pastry Tribute Brunch–have confirmed what an activated and empathetic group of supporters we have in this city.
Between the brunch and the ride we had 150 participants, over 20 corporate partners, and raised over $10,000 for the Fredricks fund, a real tribute to Emily and her family.
Special thanks to Cake Life, Johnny Brenda’s/Standard Tap and Starr Restaurants who supported both the ride and the brunch.
The five course brunch would not have been possible without a heroic culinary effort by Pierre Calmels, Chef owner of Le Cheri, and his staff, particularly that of events coordinator Yuki Schaper. Missed the event and want to know what to look forward to next year? Here’s a look at the menu, all of which was donated by the participating chefs.
We encourage you to visit their restaurants–not only because they’re delicious, but also to say a word of thanks for putting their talents and resources toward such an important cause.
