Every two years, the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) and the State Transportation Commissions (STC) update the 12-year program. This program is Pennsylvania’s mid-range planning tool that lists statewide planned projects and assigns funding to projects over a 12 year period.
As of March 1st, a 45-day public comment period that includes a Transportation Survey will be available until Wednesday, April 14, 2021. This survey will review the public feedback to help identify transportation projects in the 12-year program and will be used to inform Pennsylvania’s Long Range Transportation Plan and the Freight Movement Plan.
In addition to the survey, there will be an Online Public Forum on Tuesday, March 23, 2021 from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. This event will feature Pennsylvania’s Secretary of Transportation and encourages those who join to submit transportation questions during a Q&A session for more information.
By clicking here you can take the survey and register for the online public forum. Be sure to share the survey with your network and help spread the word to provide PennDOT and STC with your feedback on Pennsylvania’s transportation systems.
