We’re kicking off our 2024 Explore the Circuit ride series on National Celebrate Trails Day! The Bicycle Coalition’s Explore the Circuit series showcases the growing Circuit Trails network throughout the Greater Philadelphia Region. This ride series will bring you to parts of the Circuit Trails that may be new to you and give you a first look at the newly constructed segments. Additionally, we ride along trails that require local advocate support to bring connections between existing trails.
April 27, 2024 (Saturday) – Celebrate Trails on the Circuit: Stockton Station Park to the Cooper River Trails
Our first ride of the season highlights the growing Burlington-Camden Trail (formally the Merchantville Trail) with a stop at Stockton Park for an event on the Circuit hosted by Rails to Trails Conservancy (RTC). We’ll begin the group ride from Franklin Square in Philadelphia, ride over the Ben Franklin Bridge and join the festivities hosted by RTC for Stockton Park Day. Before returning back to the city, we’ll ride along the Cooper River Trail. RSVP for the ride!
Upon RSVP for the ride event, you will receive a Ride w/ GPS link for route details, event details and any updates leading up the event. The route is estimated at 17 miles round trip and are doable for all ages and abilities. For further information, please reach out to patrick@bicyclecoaltion.org.
We look forward to riding with you!
