In observance of the traffic violence that occurred across the city this past week, we are gathering with Philly Bike Action and 5th Square in a Vigil for Victims this Sunday July 21st from 8am to 11am at 17th & Spruce.
Please join us! We will be holding signs and holding space in the bike lane buffer to express our heartbreak over these tragedies. Feel free to BYO sign, and come ready to sign a petition calling on our elected officials to install permanent physical infrastructure to make streets safer for cyclists and pedestrians.
Note that we will be maintaining right-of-way; this is not a demonstration to close the street.
