CANCELLED – Ride of Silence
The Ride of Silence is an annual bike ride throughout Philadelphia to raise awareness of cyclists’ rights and to honor those cyclists killed in traffic crashes.
The 8 mile long route will start near the Philadelphia Art Museum on the Ben Franklin Parkway.
A brief pre-ride dedication ceremony will take place at 6:45 PM and the ride will start promptly at 7:00 P.M. The ride will return to the Art Museum neighborhood for the silent ceremonial bike lift. The duration of the ride is expected to be 1 hour. Helmets are required and bicycle lights are encouraged.
