The Bicycle Coalition cannot possibly write about every mishap involving cyclists throughout the region, but we try to help out as best we can. That’s why we’re asking our readers if they saw an incident at 12th and Morris on Wednesday, June 5, during the evening rush hour.
A driver shot a cyclist with a pepper spray paintball gun. Here are the details, from the cyclist, as posted to Facebook:
We are glad the police are involved and will be investigating the incident. But if you, or someone you know, saw something, please contact the police immediately. This is a heavily trafficked area with a lot of businesses; we assume someone saw something. It’s important this driver gets off the road.
