Bicycle Coalition Regional Planner Leonard Bonarek

Ready for some non-COVID-19 news? Sure you are! Bicycle Coalition of Greater Philadelphia Regional Planner Leonard Bonarek recently joined the WXPN radio show Kids Corner to talk about safe streets and family bicycling.

Kid’s Corner is a live, interactive radio show for children that has earned over 23 broadcasting awards including a George Foster Peabody Award and a Major Edwin Armstrong Award for Creative Use of Radio.

Leonard has been with the Bicycle Coalition since 2016 and is in charge of the work we do throughout the Greater Philadelphia region, including New Jersey and Pennsylvania’s collar counties.

A West Philadelphia resident, he’s been riding with both his children for nearly a decade and is an avid fan of Kid’s Corner and its mission, so this is a big moment for him.

The show originally aired on Wednesday, April 8th at 7pm on WXPN (88.5FM in the Philadelphia Region). You can listen below.
