Bicycling is for everyone, and with the recent launch of Indego Bike Share in Philadelphia, bikes as a form of public transportation are available to more people than ever.
That’s why the Bicycle Coalition of Greater Philadelphia is launching IBikePHL.org, a photography blog to showcase the diversity of Philadelphia’s growing bicycling community. The blog is located at iBikePHL.org and there are corresponding IBikePHL Twitter and Instagram accounts. This project is a part of our work with the Better Bike Share Partnership.
The photos on IBikePHL.org are taken by Lora Reehling, a cyclist and professional photographer based in West Philadelphia. This is Lora:
Lora will be using the @ibikePHL Twitter account to tell you where she’s shooting photos, in case you want her to snap your picture for the blog.
Meanwhile, if you can’t find Lora, we’ll also be combing social media over the next few months looking for users to take pictures with their bikes and post them using the hashtag #ibikephl. When you post, remember to write a short description of yourself and why you love biking in Philly. The best ones will get re-posted on iBikePHL.org!
