In late July, Camden County and NV5 provided updates on the Camden County LINK Trails at public meetings in Camden and Winslow Township. The County anticipates that six projects will break ground in 2025, with the caveat that delays happen and some projects will start sooner than others.

The first open house at the Camden County Historical Society focused on Segment 1A from 11th Street near the Subaru site to Cooper River Park. The Section 1A involves constructing 4 bridges, including a bridge over Route 130 in Pennsauken. One of the first projects scheduled to start is the River Birch Trail which will extend from 11th Street to the Cooper River under Flanders St at a point where a new pedestrian bridge over the Cooper River will be constructed. A later phase of Section 1A will be a second bridge that will cross the Cooper River again to bring the trail into Camden County Park. The entire length of Section 1A is projected to be completed in 2028.

The second meeting focused on segment 1E which is the upgrade of an existing path in New Brooklyn Park in Winslow Township. Currently the path that runs parallel to Erial Road is narrow and in poor condition. That path will be widened and extended to the border of the Winslow Wildlife Management Area. There is no current timeline for the start of construction.
