We are thrilled to join the Montgomery County Planning Commission to celebrate the official ribbon cutting ceremony for the Chester Valley Trail Extension East! The Montgomery County Commissioners will cut the ribbon on the newly completed 3.9 mile Chester Valley Trail Extension and are inviting YOU to bring your bike and ride through the newly cut ribbon to celebrate this major milestone for the Circuit Trails and Montgomery County. - Route 125: 0.1 mile walk (S Gulph and Bill Smith Blvd)
- Route 124: 1.5 mile bike ride (Henderson and Hansen Access Rd): This stop is at the CVT overpass at Henderson Rd
- NHSL from 69th Street: 2.6 mile bike ride (Dekalb St/King Manor Station): Use new sidewalk from the station to the CVT at Rt 202 and Saulin Blvd
- NHSL or Regional Rail to Norristown Transportation Center: 4 mile bike ride
This new section of trail links the existing 14.5-mile portion of the Chester Valley Trail, which currently runs from Exton to King of Prussia, to the Schuylkill River Trail in Norristown. Those who are interested in attending can register for the ribbon cutting here.
