Each year, volunteers support our education, policy and development departments and help make the Bicycle Coalition education programming and advocacy come alive. Volunteers enable us to increase our impact and reach each year. In 2022 over 50 volunteers supported the Bicycle Coalition, from marshaling at the Holiday Lights Ride, to giving our Bike Lights at the Annual Bike Light Giveaway, to advocating for the Circuit Trails.

Whether you are a seasoned cyclist or just want to explore new opportunities, we have various volunteer opportunities ranging from:
- One time support of Youth Cycling Event: Annual Crit Race, Annual Time Trial and Fun Day
- One time support of annual events including: Bike Counts, Bike to Work of Wherever Day, tagging abandoned bikes, bike lane clean ups and more.
- Weekly or Monthly support of bike education programming (learn to ride classes, beginner group rides etc.) at the Bike Hub at Bartram’s Garden and the Lil’ Philly Safety Village.
- One-off projects like building bike ramps or helping with graphic design projects, data projects, video projects or more!
