Vincent Eldering

VeloLingo Community Outreach Coordinator

Amanda

Born and raised in Bucks County PA, Vincent attended the Quaker high school George School before going on to study at Temple University in Philly.

As a student at Temple University, Vincent ran Bike Temple out of The Office of Sustainability, a program dedicated to making biking safe and accessible for students. He also worked as a messenger and dispatch for Sparrow Cycling Couriers during this time, before moving to Galicia, Spain to spend time with family and teach English.

Missing Philly, he returned with a new appreciation for the city. Now Vincent is working as the Community Outreach Coordinator for the VeloLingo Program, which provides bicycle safety information in various languages and programming in Spanish. As a transguy and son of a Spanish immigrant, accessibility and intersectionality is very important to him.

When Vincent isn’t working or riding his bike you can find him reading, swimming at the Y or playing guitar.
