She joins Coalition staff after more than a decade in the performing arts, working both as an administrator and as an educator/performer. Issues of social justice and sustainability have always been at the core of her values, and so working toward a safer, greener future for all Philadelphians feels like the right next step. Sonja is excited to bring her event planning and community building experience to bear for BCGP.

When Sonja isn’t working, you can often find her performing with the Chestnut Street Singers, trying to throw a decent bowl at The Clay Studio, or doing something fun (probably bike-related) with her family.
