Growing up in the Philadelphia suburbs, Eileen first fell in love with bicycling as a way to explore her neighborhood with her three younger brothers.
Sibling cycling adventures ranged from riding to school to forging their own trails in the local woods.
Once she completed her B.A. in Cognitive Science from the University of Pennsylvania, Eileen began her career in the nonprofit sector and hasn’t looked back! Her previous experience centered mostly around the arts. After acting professionally off-Broadway and regionally, Eileen worked for the acclaimed New York City Center in Manhattan and served as the Managing Director for Act II Playhouse here in the Greater Philadelphia region. Through this nonprofit administrative work, Eileen discovered her love of financial management and process improvement.
Eileen is thrilled to bring her passion for enriching communities (and budgeting!) to the Bicycle Coalition of Greater Philadelphia as the Operations Manager. When she isn’t at work, you can find Eileen singing showtunes, road tripping with her husband, and getting far too absorbed in books!
