Growing up in Mexico and coming to this country as a 1st generation immigrant has shown her firsthand the importance of community involvement in speaking truth to power and making change happen from within communities. At the Bicycle Coalition, she uses her experience and power through bicycle education and advocacy to ensure that economic development opportunities are available for all.

When not in class or working, Andrea enjoys trying new restaurants and walking her 1 year-old-dog, Louie.
