Interested in volunteering with the Bicycle Coalition? We are seeking Bicycle Coalition members who are interested in participating in our regional bike and pedestrian advocacy work in the eight counties that surround Philadelphia .

The County Affiliate brings cyclists together throughout the region and plays a vital role with the Bicycle Coalition by engaging with their county’s bicycling community, publicizing events and news, organizing bike rides and promoting a safe and fun way to get around the region.

The ideal candidate will be comfortable visiting and working with residents of every area of their county, speaking in front of small groups of people, administering their county’s social media page, organizing occasional rides and social events and acknowledging difficult realities while focusing on the positive. 

All who are interested must be a resident of the county they seek to represent, and be able to commit to dedicating a minimum of 3-6 hours per month to the responsibilities of the position. 

After receiving a brief interview for the County Affiliate position, those who are selected will receive access to free bike skill training, swag, access to our communications platforms and will receive support from Patrick Monahan, the Bicycle Coalition’s Regional Organizer, to help bring bicycling to all corners of the region!
