World Day of Remembrance is an event to remember and bring awareness to victims who have died from traffic-related fatalities in the Philadelphia region. It is also a day to commemorate people who have been seriously injured in traffic crashes.
World Day of Remembrance 2021 will begin at the Cobbs Creek Recreation Center at 11am. From there the group will head out on a half-mile walk / bike / any other mode of active transportation down to the Cobbs Creek Community Environmental Center. There we’ll hear from guest speakers and families who have been affected by traffic violence address Vision Zero PHL initiatives and share their stories about their loved one(s).
