Pedal for Peace with PA State Representative Donna Bullock
Join State Representative Donna Bullock, the Better Bike Share Partnership, and many other organizations on a Pedal for Peace Bicycle Group Ride.
This ride will explore community art through the 195th Legislative District to help promote public safety in the community and highlight local community gardens. This ride will be escorted by the Philadelphia Police Department in order to help yield traffic during the ride. This will be a 6-mile, slow-paced, group ride that is open to all skill levels of cyclists and will include bicyclists riding in solidarity for peace in the streets of Philly.
Ride Information:
- Helmets will be provided for 10 Indego riders
- Must be 14 to ride an Indego Bike
- Sign-up is required to ride on Indego bikes (No exceptions).
*Height Restrictions: The bikes we use for the class are recommended for 5’2″ and up. If you’d like to come out with your own bike, please let us know.
* Bring your own bike option* – If you own a bike, please feel free to register and join us for the ride. Please make sure your bike is in safe and operating condition before the event. If the bike is deemed unsafe by a Bicycle Coalition staff, then you will not be able to ride. All registered participants must wear a helmet in order to participate. No exceptions.
Please let ride leaders know about any medical conditions. Indego riders should plan to stay with the group for the entire ride.
