June Featured Ride: Juneteenth Empowerment [presented by Indego]
Join the Bicycle Coalition and Indego for June’s Featured Group Ride: the Juneteenth Empowerment Ride!
Ride Overview:
The ride will be a slow-paced bicycle group ride beginning and ending at the 52nd and Larchwood Ave Indego Station located in the West Philly section of Philadelphia. The ride will be a 2 mile loop exploring green spaces and local Black-owned organizations in West Philly, stopping for an information session with a speaker featuring long-time West Philly residents sharing about their neighborhood, and ending back at the Indego Station.
Every ride is led by a trained staff member of the Bicycle Coalition and all participants are expected to follow the rules of the road.
This ride will be beginner-friendly and at a leisurely pace
Helmets will be provided for Indego riders
Must be 14 to ride an Indego Bike
Please let ride leaders know about any medical conditions.
Indego riders should plan to stay with the group for the entire ride.
