9/11 National Memorial Trail Bike Tour Finale in Philly

Cyclists with the September 11th National Memorial Trail Alliance will start streaming onto Independence Mall on July 3, 2023, about 3:00 pm. Leading them in will be members of local cycling club Suburban Cyclists Unlimited (SCU), Glenn Goldenberg, Dean Mondelblatt, Wes Wolf and Katie Hunt.

This caps off a two-week 700-mile, state-wide journey along the 9/11 Memorial Trail from Pittsburgh to Philadelphia, these Alliance riders are part of a mission to commemorate the tragic events of September 11th, 2001, by traversing part of the total 1,300-mile route that links the World Trade Center, the Pentagon, and the Flight 93 Memorial. Everyone is welcome to join in the fun on Monday, July 3rd. The last 52-miles has been divided into three segments that are posted on our SCU Meetup starting in Doylestown (9 am), passing through Valley Forge National Park (1:15 pm), and massing together at Tricycle Café, Conshohocken (1:15 pm) to proceed to the finale on Independence Mall (starting 3 pm).
