The BCYC Hustle N’ Ride event at Hunting Park was nothing short of spectacular, and the weather was on our side! In a week filled with rain, May 11th stood out as a sunny, rain-free day.

Thanks to our partnership with the 25th Precinct, we had exclusive access to the entire park, creating a safe and dedicated space for our event. All 10 Spring sites were represented, bringing together a vibrant and enthusiastic community. Our partners at the Pennsylvania Interscholastic Cycling League (PICL) added to the excitement with a mountain biking obstacle course.

The day was filled with incredible athletic displays, and the medals were evenly distributed among the schools, showcasing the diverse talent of our young riders. The North10 Time Trial set the tone for the event, with athletes pushing their limits and giving it their all. The effort was so intense that many were seen laying on the grass afterward, completely spent but exhilarated.

The highlight of the day was undoubtedly the Boys A Race. Justin Suarez delivered a dominant performance, leading from start to finish and maintaining an impressive gap to the pursuers. His victory was a fitting conclusion to a day of fierce but friendly competition.

We extend a huge shoutout to our sponsors, North10 Philadelphia and the Bicycle Club of Philadelphia, for their unwavering support. Their contributions were instrumental in making this event a success. We also want to thank all the volunteers who helped set up and run the event.
