Traffic fatalities across the country have been on the rise, with pedestrians, cyclists, and other vulnerable road users making up a higher percentage of victims than ever before. Philadelphia is not alone in grappling with how to implement effective & positive changes to combat the crisis.
- How do we bring Vision Zero to the mainstream?
- What are effective strategies for taking the politics out of saving lives?
- How do we deepen the work in our communities and expand the scale of proven-effective tools?
Explore these questions with us on March 22nd at Vision Zero PHL 2024! The day-long conference features a variety of panels and speakers exploring how to effectively “scale up” the Vision Zero program through essential infrastructure investments and community engagement as we seek to eliminate traffic fatalities across the Philadelphia region. The Vision Zero PHL Poster Call is a chance to present additional ideas to a room filled with public policy and community leaders.
If you have a unique project or program idea that corresponds with this year’s conference theme of “Vision Zero at a Crossroads”, we invite you to submit an application to Poster or share it with your community, school, or work networks.
Additional information regarding the Poster Call can be found here at the 2024 Vision Zero PHL Conference Postering Guidelines.
