The Bicycle Coalition of Greater Philadelphia and Families for Safe Streets Greater Philadelphia present World Day of Remembrance 2022. This annual event is scheduled to honor the people who’ve lost their lives to traffic violence in the Philadelphia area.
#WDoR2022 is run in conjunction with cities all across the country every year on November 20th. This year we are hosting the event at the intersection of Germantown Ave. and Butler St. just north of Broad St. and Erie Ave. Broad St, Erie Ave. and Germantown Ave. are all on the high injury network, the 12% of streets that have 80% of all serious crashes in the city.
