As we reflect on the year that’s passed and all that lies ahead, the members of the Circuit Trails Coalition would like to share the latest by digging into what’s hot on the Circuit.

This past year marked 10 years since the vision was launched to create a trail network that would connect people of all ages to jobs, communities and parks in Greater Philadelphia and the southern New Jersey region. Currently in progress, the Circuit Trails network will eventually encompass 800+ miles of trails on both sides of the Delaware River, building upon the region’s existing active transportation infrastructure.

In 2012, the Circuit Trails network was 31% complete with 250 existing miles. Over the past decade, trail connections have been added on both sides of the Delaware River, taking the network to 374 miles and 45% complete!

Go on a virtual tour of the 16 miles of trails that were newly opened in 2022 and to learn more about the Circuit Trails network. You’ll discover new places to explore #OnTheCircuit and how you can help advance the vision for Circuit Trails network. A recording of the webinar can be accessed here.

For the latest news, we encourage you to become a Circuit Citizen for opportunities to accelerate the development of the regional network of trails.
