You’re invited to the 2nd Northwest Schuylkill River Trails Summit at the Venice Island Performing Arts Center in Manayunk on Saturday, September 27th at 9:30AM for an exploration of current trail investments and future trail projects in Northwest Philadelphia and Lower Merion Township!
The Greater Philadelphia area is the proud home of the Circuit Trails, a vast regional network of hundreds of miles of multi-use trails that’s growing in size each year. The Schuylkill River Trail makes up a significant portion of the regional trail network that connects our communities and provides opportunities for recreating and commuting between counties. Attendees will hear from those who are advancing the trails in Northwest Philadelphia and Lower Merion areas, and learn more about why trails are advantageous to economic development, how trails foster community building, and expand our growing active transportation network.
The Bicycle Coalition is thrilled to partner with Venice Island Performing Arts and Recreation Center, MYNK Development Corp, Roxborough Manayunk Conservancy and the Circuit Trails Coalition once again to highlight the incredible trail work that is moving forward in Northwest Philadelphia and Lower Merion Township after a successful summit held in Spring of 2024.
