Better Bike Share Partnership Community Liaison
Anthony is a Philadelphia native who got into cycling as a hobby at an early age. Ever since he first rode a road bike, Anthony's had a passion for cycling.
During high school Anthony would take his bike to Fairmount Park after school and do laps from the Art Museum to East Falls. Once Anthony joined the workforce, Anthony used cycling not just as a recreational activity, but as a mode of transportation to commute back and forth from home to work.
Anthony became a bike messenger in mid 2016. He started out delivering food then eventually became a full time messenger, transporting legal documents between law firms, medicine between hospitals, and blueprints from small architect firms. Anthony has enjoyed the freedom of becoming a bike messenger and the culture that comes with it. As of 2021, Anthony is a Community Liaison for the Bicycle Coalition of Greater Philadelphia. This role allows him to help and teach people how to ride and navigate the busy streets of Philadelphia in a fun and safe way.
