As the weather begins to get warmer, so does our need to get on a bicycle and explore new adventures! The Bicycle Coalition of Greater Philadelphia, in collaboration with the Better Bike Share Partnership (BBSP), has new seasonal jobs and volunteer opportunities available for bicycle advocates and enthusiasts. We are offering positions within our Education Department for the upcoming 2022 season of rides & classes. You can find a list of the positions that we are offering below:

2022 Seasonal Positions (April – October):

  • Better Bike Share Partnership Community Liaison (Apply Here)
    • Work with the Better Bike Share Partnership team to schedule, plan and implement group bike rides and basic bike education classes.  Join the team in the office and in the streets to implement education programming that increases access to safe biking using Indego Bike Share.
  • Bartram’s Garden Hub Manager (Apply Here)
    • Manage the bike hub at Bartram’s Garden leading beginner group rides, learn-to-ride classes for adults and kids, managing free bike rentals, managing a small group of volunteers, and leading basic urban riding basics courses.
  • Rides and Classes Support (VeloLingo Program) (Apply Here)
    • Support bike rides and learn-to-ride classes; help with helmet fitting and ride support; provide basic urban biking information for classes offered in Spanish in partnership with organizations serving immigrants and refugees.
  • Bike Share Support Team (Apply Here)
    • Support outreach at community events, bike rides, and learn-to-ride classes; help with helmet fitting, ride support, basic urban biking information.
