Bicycle Coalition

The Bicycle Coalition podcast discusses Greater Philadelphia bike and bike-related issues on a consistent basis. Hosted by Bicycle Coalition Communications Manager Randy LoBasso and Community Liaison Brenda Hernandez-Torres, the podcast reaches people all over Philadelphia and beyond. (I was actually introduced to a listener from Boston on a recent trip to Washington, D.C.)

We are committed to speaking with an array of people from all over Philadelphia to speak about the sorts of issues our listeners care about — traffic safety, community involvement, law, and, yep, bicycling.

That’s why, with 2018 elections coming up, we’re looking for guests from all over Philadelphia who’ve chosen to run for a hyper-local position this year: Committee person.

Committee people represent tiny areas within Philadelphia’s greater neighborhoods and wards.

The Bicycle Coalition podcast is looking to interview those people seeking to represent these micro-neighborhoods and ask them about transportation.

If you or someone you know is running for committee person and is interested, email randy@bicyclecoalition.org.
