We wish this ride didn’t have to happen.

The 19th Annual Philadelphia Ride of Silence is scheduled to take place Wednesday, May 17th 2023 at 6:45 P.M starting at City Hall. This silent ride is held at more than 250 locations worldwide to honor cyclists killed or injured by motorists, to promote Vision Zero, and to raise awareness of safe road sharing.

• to mourn the twelve cyclists killed by motorists and the hundreds who have had crashes involving motor vehicles in the last 12 months on the roads of the Delaware Valley
• to raise awareness of all road users of cyclists on the road
• to have motorists know we only want to share the road we ride on

We invite all cyclists and others who legally share the road with motorized vehicles. We will ride rain or shine on a course through Center City and West Philly, proceeding silently and at a pace of 10 miles an hour.

Meet at 6:45 PM at the North side of Philadelphia City Hall.  A brief pre-ride dedication ceremony will take place at 6:45 PM and the 1 hour, 8 mile ride will start promptly at 7:00 P.M.
