Meet the team that is activating play at the Lil’ Philly Safety Village

The Bicycle Coalition is excited to partner with Fab Youth Philly to host a team of two Play Ambassadors activating play at the Lil’ Philly Safety Village every Saturday from 10-12 in Hunting Park.  If you come by, you will be able to borrow a free bike and helmet, learn about safe biking and have fun!  The Lil’ Philly Safety Village is one of the Bicycle Coalition’s two Neighborhood Bike Hubs.

Angela Harris and Tanaya Fisher are a dynamic mother-daughter duo who you will find activating play at the Lil’ Philly Safety Village every Saturday.

Angela is a crossing guard near Bethune Elementary School and knows first hand how important it is to teach young children how to navigate their neighborhoods while walking and biking.  Angela is also a part of the Nicetown-Tioga community Center.  She is  excited to interact with children and wants to keep kids safe and off the streets.

Tanaya loves giving back to her community and spending time with families and friends.  She likes arts and crafts and shopping at local farmers markets and can’t wait to play with you at the Lil’ Philly Safety Village.

Come meet Angela and Tanaya and join the fun, every Saturday 10-12 at the Lil’ Philly Safety Village in Hunting Park.
