We have two Explore the Circuit rides coming this fall! The Bicycle Coalition’s Explore the Circuit series will showcase the growing Circuit Trails network throughout the Greater Philadelphia Region. Beginning in October we will ride in Chester and Mercer counties.
We’ll bring you to parts of the Circuit Trails that may be new to you and give you a first look at the newly constructed segments. Additionally, we ride along trails that require support through local advocacy to bring those connections between existing trails.
Below are the event details for each ride. If you’re already a Bicycle Coalition member, you can RSVP for and attend as many of these rides as you want at no cost. If you’re not a member, join today and your membership dues will get you access to this ride series as well and many more exciting benefits! Contact larry@bicyclecoalition if you have any additional questions regarding membership.
- Saturday, October 9 – Schuylkill River Trail: Cromby to Parker Ford
- This extension also known as Phase II of the County’s SRT is a four-mile paved extension that will take the trail from Linfield Road at Parker Ford, to the new Route 422 Bridge crossing of the Schuylkill River at the Montgomery County border.
- Saturday, October 23 – Lawrence Hopewell Trail
- The trail links a main street business district, corporate campuses, parks, preserved open space, schools, and towns as it travels through Lawrence and Hopewell Townships in the county. We will enjoy views of farms and woods along sections that are paved and portions that have cinder dust and gravel surfaces.
Both rides will take place from 10:00 AM to 12:30 PM that measure between 10 to 15 miles round trip. For further information, you will receive details upon registration and will be notified with any updates as the event approaches.
We look forward to riding with you!
