Pitman Holiday Lights 2025 – Wednesday 12/17/25

We met at Pitman’s local Bike Shop, The Caffeinated Cyclist, where about 30 folks joined us for a slow roll through the streets of Pitman for an excellent Holiday Lights Ride! We were happy to have 3 Penny-Farthings join us on the ride, and lots of excited kids! Big thanks to Pitman Councilman John Fitzpatrick for leading the ride, and to Maureen Drewes Fitzpatrick for supplying the cookies and hot cocoa at the end of the ride on Theater Ave. The Borough of Pitman has been investing in bicycle infrastructure & trail expansion and improvements, and we love working with the bike-friendly towns in Gloucester County and the region!

Bike Gloucester County December Breakfast Ride – Sunday 12/21/25

We celebrated the Winter Solstice with our last Breakfast Ride of the year! We had 12 riders and with the recent wind we had to clear the trail of a fallen tree soon after we started. The rest of the ride was mostly clear, but lots of small branches had fallen. The Elephant Swamp Trail was a bit muddy, but in good shape overall, and fun to ride as always! As usual, we enjoyed our meal at the Elmer Diner and warmed up for the return ride. We definitely plan to continue in 2026 with this ride on the 3rd Sunday monthly.

Wenonah Holiday Lights 2025 – Monday 12/22/25

Wow! We met at Wenonah’s historic Train Station, and had 40+ folks brave the chilly temps to join us for the lights ride! We were led by Wenonah Councilman Alex Pozza, and we had lots of kids! We made two awesome stops, one house sang Christmas carols to us and had cider and cookies! The next stop was at Memorial Presbyterian Church of Wenonah, where we were greeted by the Grinch, and treated to hot chocolate and more cookies! Big thanks for the escort and traffic control to the Mantua Police Department NJ. It was truly a fun night, and we look forward to working with the Borough of Wenonah on more bike projects in 2026!
